Prayer

Prayer is a quiet series of hand-stitched works that emerge from within.

Each piece centres on a single word—spoken inwardly, repeated in silence, and stitched slowly by hand—as a self-addressed reminder carried over time.

Drawn from moments of reflection, the words ask to be returned to, again and again. The act of stitching becomes meditative, even devotional—a way of sitting with what is difficult, tender, or unfinished.

As the hand moves through cloth, each repetition becomes a gesture of presence: humble, deliberate, and durational.

The work honours the long rhythms of care—where attention itself becomes a quiet offering.

Using naturally dyed thread on biodegradable cloth, prayer reflects on labour, stillness, and the possibility of repair.
